The Hoopa Valley Tribe is the second largest employer in Humboldt County, California. Managing over 60 individual departments and entities requires extensive planning as well as day-to-day problem solving. The administrative staff for the Hoopa Valley Tribe work diligently in maintaining both of these phases of management. The administrative building houses several entities of the tribe including

the Self-Governance Office, Office of Tribal Attorney, Recreation Department, Fiscal Department, Personnel Department, Elections Department, as well as the offices of the Tribal Council members and Chairman. Upcoming: On Veteran’s Day, we will be celebrating our Honored Hoopa Tribal Veterans at the Tribal Offices.

These are distinguished individuals who have sacrificed much abroad and internal so that we could have civilianhood in our homelands, and for that we are ever-grateful.

Start time: November 11th, 11AM, with a luncheon to follow at 12PM.

We look forward to seeing our service members and their family & friends there.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

In addition to the twice-weekly distribution to elders at senior nutrition, the Tribe is providing these increased food support days for the month of November on the 6th, 13th and 20th, with coordination of Klamath-Trinity Resource Conservation District (KTRCD) through the Hoopa Valley Tribe on the Local Food Purchase Assistance Program still active.

LOCATION: Downtown Hoopa

No income eligibility. No restrictions on who specifically can receive food.

Limits: The food provided is to be locally produced (~400 mi. radius), and non-processed/minimally processed.
