We had our in-school OBOB challenge after school yesterday and it was an amazing showcase of some really amazing readers! The 6th graders (The Book Loving Walrus Warriors) took on the 7th graders (Rapscallion Readers) and it was a very close match. We played best two out of three battles and in the third the 6th grade pulled ahead. On to regionals, March 16th! Congratulations to all.

This is a much overdue post, but the October book fair was very successful! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped out and parents who bought books to donate to the library. Overall the library was about to get approximately $1,500 worth of books! A huge win for our students!

Wy’east Family Conferences are tonight 10/19 and Tuesday 10/24 from 4:30-7:00pm in our Wy’east gym. No appointment needed. We hope that you can all find time to come and connect with Wy’east teachers and staff. We know when we work together, we can better serve our Wy’east learners.
