Test positive for COVID-19?
🏠 Stay home until you've been fever-free for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication) and your symptoms are overall improving.
😷 You're not fully in the clear once you return to normal activities. Take added precautions for the next 5 days — hand washing, distancing, testing before being around others indoors, masking, and cleaner air/ventilation — since you may still be contagious.
🟰 No symptoms but tested positive? You may still be contagious. Take the same added precautions for 5 days after your positive test.
⚠️ Extra care around high-risk individuals is especially important during this 5-day window, since they're more vulnerable to severe illness.
The basics still make a difference: wash your hands, cover your cough, and stay home if you're feeling sick.
