Aloha O'ahu RPCVs!

We are scheduling our first RPCV-HI service event for 2026 on February 14, at the Kupa 'Aina Farms in Kailua, one of the projects of the Partners in Development Foundation. What better way to start off Valentine's Day than to mālama the land!

We are looking for 5-10 participants to support the effort - RPCV family and friends are welcome to join! Kupa 'Aina organizes these monthly Community Workdays during which volunteers engage in a wide range of farm tasks, such as: Weeding, Weed-whacking, Mulching, Cutting/slimming banana trees, Cleaning fields, Prepping fields for planting, and Planting.

Do note that though this is a farm, there are no animals and no animal-related tasks.

If you are interested and available on February 14, 9am-12pm, please register on the RPCV-HI events page, https://rpcvhi.org/event-6546400, by February 12, 2026. RPCV-HI will send out more details to volunteers prior to the event.

Kupa 'Aina also asks for volunteers to complete a form, which you can find on their website https://pidf.org/kupaaina, or complete the form when you arrive at the event.

For more information about Kupa 'Aina, please check out their website, https://pidf.org/kupaaina For more information about the event, write to [email protected].

Let’s begin the year together in service: strengthening community, honoring the land, and carrying forward the RPCV commitment to mālama ʻāina.
