Gregory House Programs

All services are based on Oahu; some housing assistance is available to Neighbor Island applicants.

Founded in 1988, Gregory House Programs provides trauma informed care and services including emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, emergency financial assistance and a food bank for low income and/or medically fragile people. s to persons living with HIV/AIDS in Hawaii. With housing and food security, persons living with HIV/AIDS have increased access to continuous primary medical care, HIV treatment and support services. This leads to improved HIV health outcomes, decreased morbidity/mortality rates, reduced public costs due to less reliance on costly emergency, crisis and legal services including jail, and reduced new HIV transmissions.

Our team is getting ready for the 2026 Kahu Mālama Award Dinner and Silent Auction, and we’re reaching out to our community for support. We’re seeking donated items to help make this year’s auction our best yet.

We welcome contributions such as artwork, gift cards for restaurants, spas, grocery stores, or clothing stores, hotel stays, excursions, and electronics. Every donation helps us continue providing housing, nutrition, and supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS across Hawaiʻi.

We’re officially one month away from our 2026 Kahu Mālama Award Dinner and Silent Auction!

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Prince Waikiki, we’ll gather to celebrate compassion, community, and the programs that provide housing, nutrition, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS across Hawaiʻi.

Last week, members from the team stopped by our weekly food distribution (Save the FoodBasket) to donate cooler bags to our program participants. During these uncertain times, we are grateful to have the continued support of our longtime corporate community partners. This award recognizes an individual who has shown a commitment to supporting Gregoy House Programs' mission of providing housing, nutrition, and case management services to individuals facing homelessness and living with HIV/AIDS in Hawaii.

We are excited to announce this year's recipient of the Kahu Malama Award is Veronica Gail Kawananakoa. Through her support, Veronica has provided valuable resources that allow GHP to continue our support services throughout the year to our program participants. We are deeply grateful for her commitment and look forward to honoring her on September 12th!

Mahalo to our friends at the Aloha Bears for their continued support of Gregory House Programs and our mission of providing housing and nutrition needs to those facing homelessness and living with HIV/AIDS in Hawaii.

Join us for a HUNKY night in Waikīkī! 🎅✨

Members of the GHP team will be at Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand on Christmas Eve (12/24) from 7–9pm for their Hunky Santa event! For a small, suggested donation, you can snap a photo with Hunky Santa and help support Gregory House Programs mission of provide housing and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS and facing homelessness in Hawai‘i!
