It has been an amazing athletic year for Mililani High School and I couldn’t be more proud! I had the pleasure of attending this years OIA Banquet where MHS was honored for their State Championship Teams - Baseball and Softball, and Runner Up Teams - Girls Golf, Boys Swimming and Diving, and Girls Flag Football. I was honored to attend Mililani Mauka Elementary School’s Aloha Assembly and present Character Count awards to several outstanding students who exemplify strong values and leadership. Well done to Aria Tengan, Xyane Lamosao, and Ashtyn Goo for demonstrating integrity, responsibility and serving as positive role models for your peers. It was such an honor to present Character Count Awards to Dayton Isaiah Pacolba and Emily Tittle of Mililani Ike Elementary School. Both Isaiah and Emily have proven that they are hardworking and dependable individuals who made the most of their time at Mililani Ike by serving their school community! I am so proud of Kuleana Magno, Prince John Melchor, Aurea Brown, Ella Marie Cayetano, and Jia Ishikawa of Mililani Uka Elementary for recieving the Character Counts Awards this year! Each individual displayed care for others, empathy, and created supportive enviorments for their peers. It was so much fun attending Uka Elementary's Aloha Assembly, and I wish all of the 5th graders a well-deserved congratulations as they step into the next chapter of their education journey!

My kids and I had the pleasure of watching this year’s production of Finding Nemo Jr. at Kipapa Elementary. The students were passionate and so fun to watch, and all of their hard work paid off swimmingly! Great job to all of the students and teachers, who made this night of creativity possible.
