Congratulations to The ODOM Corporation on the grand opening of their new facility in Kapolei!

It was great to be a part of the grand opening and blessing and celebrate this exciting milestone. This new facility will help strengthen ODOM’s distribution operations and better serve communities across Hawaiʻi.

It was wonderful to see so much support behind this accomplishment and the continued growth of the company.

Mahalo to my fellow OMPO Policy Board colleagues for making time to meet as we discuss and plan for OMPO’s next steps.

We have been blessed to work with Director Mark Garrity, who has been instrumental in working with us as we tackle the transportation priorities here on O’ahu.

Director Garrity will be retiring soon, and we hope to work with his successor and carry on the amazing job he and his staff have done thus far.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in Mililani and I was grateful to be part of the dedication and blessing of the Senator Michelle Kidani Softball Stadium at Mililani High School! 🥎

Having had the opportunity to work alongside Michelle, “Senator Kidani”, at the State Legislature, I’ve seen firsthand her dedication to Mililani and her commitment to advocating for our community. She has been a fierce advocate for education and especially wahine sports.

I look forward to welcoming my dear friend, Michelle, to Honolulu Hale soon to recognize her many accomplishments and celebrate the lasting legacy she continues to build for Mililani and Hawaiʻi.

Mahalo Mililani Trojans for the invitation to attend the Homecoming Football Game!

I always enjoy seeing the incredible floats the students put together each year, and this year’s “Once Upon a Trojan” theme did not disappoint! Shoutout to the senior class for winning Homecoming Week!

Congratulations to our varsity football team! It was an exciting game against Campbell with both teams playing hard! I’m so proud of our team for staying strong and securing victory!

Mahalo and Kia Ora to Councilor Whare Isaac-Sharland and her ʻohana, visiting from Napier, Aotearoa, New Zealand, for taking the time to visit us at Honolulu Hale!

It was wonderful to talk story, learn more about how our respective city councils operate, and share some of the work we’re doing for our communities.

We were also treated to a beautiful song performed by Councilor Isaac-Sharland, her husband, and their son, which made the visit even more special.

Mahalo Mililani Trojans for inviting me to participate once again in your Homecoming Parade! 💛🤎

Shoutout to Randy and Lee Ann Medina for accompanying me with their car and helping decorate for this year’s theme, “Once Upon a Trojan.” I loved getting into the spirit as Belle from Beauty and the Beast! 🌹

It’s always great to see the incredible support from the Mililani community, and the students’ energy is truly unmatched.

It was great attending the 2026 MHS Complex PC Day! 💛🤎

I always love seeing teachers from across the Mililani Complex come together to connect. Being around teachers always feels like home, since my days with the DOE. I enjoyed learning about Mililani’s history from Tony Gaston and hearing CAS Ernest Muh give his leadership message.

Mahalo to the administrators who organized the day and to the teachers who welcomed me into their workshops and gave me the opportunity to join in and learn something new!
