Mahalo to Honolulu Cookie Company for being the Platinum Sponsor of Ready to Learn 2026.

Every year, Ready to Learn helps local students head back to school with the supplies they need to feel prepared and confident in the classroom. Support from community partners like Honolulu Cookie Company helps make that possible.

Beyond their sponsorship, the Honolulu Cookie Company team recently came together to host a composition book drive, helping collect essential school supplies for students and families preparing for the new school year.

We are grateful for their generosity, community spirit, and commitment to supporting local keiki. Together, we're helping students start the school year ready to learn and reminding families that they are not doing it alone.

Cayla Kapanui-Sula is a valued part of Helping Hands Hawai‘i's HR team, where she helps with recruiting, supports staff and volunteers, and jumps in wherever she's needed. Her coworkers know they can rely on her even during the busiest days, and she approaches her work with a simple mindset: "Always be humble."

And like many of us, she has her go-to pick-me-up: a Venti Caramel Macchiato.

When it comes to local favorites, you'll probably find her enjoying Broke Da Mouth Grindz in Kapolei or digging into some poke, laulau, poi, rice, and lomi salmon.

We're grateful to have Cayla as part of the HHH ohana.
