We combat drug-related transnational organized crime to reduce threats in the Indo-Pacific
region in order to protect national security interests and promote regional stability. Indo-Pacific Command’s Supporting Commander for counterdrug activities and support both U.S. and parnter nation law enforcement efforts against drug-related transnational criminal organizations. and foreign military units,
law enforcement agencies, and personnel
tasked with direct counterdrug responsibilities. Some of our interagency partners include the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security
Investigations (HSI), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). We focus on providing mission essential support to interagency partners involved in
disrupting priority drug-related transnational criminal organizations; developing regional expertise in the detection and monitoring of methamphetamine and precursor chemical trafficking; increasing partner nation capabilities to address financial crimes; and developing engagement strategies with partner nations.
