Plan, Prepare, Prevail - Get Ready Before the Storm
Many of the pumps and facilities that deliver drinking water throughout Oʻahu rely on electricity. If widespread power outages or storm damage occur, water service may be temporarily interrupted.
That's why it's important to be prepared by storing enough water for drinking, cooking, and basic sanitation.
• Make sure you are storing at least one gallon of water per person, per day, for 14 days, as well as additional water for pets.
• Continue using your emergency water supply wisely until normal water service has been restored.
