The Pacific Risk Management Ohana (PRiMO) conference is back in 2023. Please join us on April 3-6, 2023 by submitting a proposal. Proposal submission deadline is December 16, 2022.
The 2023 PRiMO Conference is inviting proposals for the following session types:
Full-length Session Types (90 minutes):
Talk Story Session: Session leaders provide an overview of the topic, question, or problem, followed by facilitated discussion (e.g., brainstorming, idea generation, sharing).
Working Session: Focus on developing tangible outputs to specific issues/challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, scenario planning, tool critique, needs assessment, or soliciting feedback on prototypes.
Panel Session: Convene a small group of speakers (2-4) to present on a topic or issue followed by open question and answer with the audience.
For all session types, please plan sufficient time for engagement with participants.
Individual Presentation (15 minutes): Presentation or tool demonstration on a topic relevant to PRiMO and its hui. Conference organizers will group accepted individual presentations into 90-minute sessions or recommend a poster presentation. Presentations on relevant research topics are encouraged.
Academic Posters: Abstracts for papers and posters focused on the thematic areas. Abstracts will be reviewed by a research committee.
Training Session (full or half day): Training and professional development opportunities can be full or half day and will be scheduled for Monday, April 3, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
