🚜 Hawaii Farmers and Ranchers, did you know you can get support with transportation costs?

The USDA recently announced the Reimbursement Transportation Cost Payment (RTCP) Program, which helps eligible farmers and ranchers recover a portion of the cost of transporting farm supplies and agricultural products.

Eligible producers can receive up to $8,000 each year. To qualify, your average annual income must be $900,000 or less. Note: commercial fishermen are not
eligible for RTCP benefits.

A win for the agricultural industry & local businesses

At Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism's (DBEDT) 4th Annual Hawai'i Made Conference, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Hawai'i Food & Product Innovation Network (FPIN) was signed.

💡 What does this mean? This agreement establishes a framework to connect producers with expertise, equipment, processing, and commercialization support. Giving more opportunity for food innovation, market access, and resilience.
