Mahalo for your support! 30 people donated blood at the DAGS-DLNR on June 25. The Bloodmobile parked behind Honolulu Hale. It was a public event so everyone was welcome to join! Each unit of whole blood can help three separate people!
This time, donated 10 kalua pig bowls, which went to the first 10 donors. So ‘ono! Mahalo plenty!!
We again offered for the rest of the donors who came after that. Mahalo to a personal supporter for giving us musubi!
We will be doing this again around the year’s end. Updates will be posted here (and to your email if you work at DAGS or DLNR.)

City and state leaders held an event today to donate the results of a governmental food bank donation drive. Every dollar or canned good given to the Hawai’i Foodbank becomes more than just food. It becomes relief for a parent, wondering how they’ll feed their children. It becomes hope for seniors on a fixed income. It becomes comfort for families facing difficult times. If you support the , thank you.

DAGS’ West Hawai’i District Office proudly participated in the Holualoa Elementary College and Career Fair on May 15.

The school told us the crew—Kimo, Troy, Mark, Josh, Glenn, and Jantzan— went above and beyond, bringing the trades to life with interactive, hands-on activities in carpentry, painting, and electrical work. What wonderful feedback; thank you!

We value and support our community and look forward to our ongoing partnership with Holualoa Elementary!
