Well… we had a good thing going

For the longest time, folks could just swing by and drop off their tree trimmings—easy, simple, no fuss. But as the saying goes… it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.

Someone decided “tree trimmings” also meant… well… not tree trimmings and now here we are.

So moving forward, access will be monitored and you’ll need to pick up a key to drop off your foliage. Yes… we’ve officially reached the point where the trees are under lock and key.
We hate that it’s come to this, but we appreciate everyone doing the right thing and helping us keep things clean going forward!

🧹 Time to clean out those garages, sheds, and backyards!

The open container has been extended for the week of March 8, 2026, so if you’ve been holding onto bulky items that need to go, now is the time to take advantage of it.

Furniture, broken household items, old fencing, and other large debris are great candidates for the container. Let’s take this opportunity to tidy up our properties and help keep our community looking great.

♻️ Quick eco-friendly reminder:
Some items should not be thrown in the container because they can harm the environment. Please dispose of these properly:

Paint, chemicals, and household cleaners

Motor oil, antifreeze, and automotive fluids

Batteries

Electronics (TVs, computers, printers)

Tires

Appliances containing refrigerants (like refrigerators or AC units)

Many of these items can be recycled or taken to designated disposal sites.

Let’s work together to keep our town clean and protect the environment while we’re at it. 🌎💚

If you’ve got large items to dump, this week is your chance!
