On the behalf of Pennsylvania State Constable Office and our Honey Brook Lions Club:

We would like thank everyone who came out to our Giveaway Night. This is one of our favorite nights of the year because it reminds us why we work so hard all year long to raise money that allows us to give back to so many wonderful organizations in our community.

We were proud to welcome Steeple to People Ministries, Anchored Ministries, Honey Brook Borough Police Department, Fire Police, Honey Brook Fire Company #1, Honey Brook Community Library, Honey Brook Youth Center, Honey Brook Food Pantry, and one of our Twin Valley School District Scholarship Award winners to accept our donations.

While we donate to many other organizations throughout the year, these were most of the local groups that were able to accept in person. A huge thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising efforts throughout the year and for all the services these groups provide. Because of you, we’re able to make a real difference right here in our community!

PRIMARY VOTING DAY!

Today is an opportunity for all eligible voters to exercise their rights to cast their vote in the primary elections! As a right and a duty, voting is the democratic way that we, the people, steer the direction of this great republic, and this Commonwealth.

Here are a few tips to remember this primary day:

1. Make sure you are registered to vote!

2. Make a plan to vote within the time frames! Voting precincts open at 7:00am and close at 8:00pm.

3. If you are planning on voting later in the day, please make sure that you are in line to vote by 8:00pm. After that, if you are not in line, you will not be allowed to vote.

4. Please make sure that you notify the local constable if there are any safety issues, disorderly individuals, or violations of polling place laws (such as political candidates and groups being required to stand at least 100 feet away from the polling place).

5. Bring a friend! Make sure that your neighbors, family, and friends also exercise their rights as Americans and vote for their candidates.

Constables will be on patrol. We look forward to seeing everyone at the polls!
