We are still getting call her at the office about scam calls. Please hang up on these people and ignore the calls. One of the best preventive measures you can take is to not answer numbers you do not know.

If it is a legitimate phone call they will leave a message. Once you give them money or your personal information and bank information it usually is gone for good.

As always please feel to reach out to me here at the Sheriff's Office. The Federal Trade Commission has some really good tools for the public on scams.
