Captain Redbeard's Pirate Festival Captain Redbeard's Feast - Pirate and Seafood Festival Arrrrgh... Captain Redbeard and his hungry rogue pirates will return Labor Day weekend on Honeoye Lake.

They have traveled for centuries looking for Pirate Cove and once found, they have charted its location as a port of call when sailing these seas. He and his krewe will enjoy live music with a reggae/Caribbean and folk music flair, a market place where starving pirates and vendors sell and trade their wares, services, vittles, and grog. ate games and entertainment. During each voyage to Pirate Cove, Captain Redbeard continues to search for the gold he buried here in 1788 with the love of his life, Maggie O'Haron finally at his side. Maggie joined the krewe as first mate so not to loose him again to the call of the sea. After waiting years for his return while tending her tavern, Maggie's, she wasn't about to let him sail away alone again. As she sails the seas with the Captain her devoted sister and niece keep the lanterns aglow at the tavern. Will the Captain find his treasure this year? Will he find his gold before YOU do? Come to Pirates Cove and help us welcome back our favorite pirate, his lady love and krewe for singing, dancing, and impromptu entertainment all weekend and of course, TREASURE.

Captain Redbeard's Feast will be no more. With regrets, the ship has sailed for the last time with the current krewe at the helm. Thanks to all that attended, supported and helped the years we ran the event. Life goes on.

Mate and Maties, I apologize for the lack of additional information being posted here regularly, but I'm FB challenged and job overworked! The event is on, pirate battle a go, along with the pirate antics. Itinerary on webpage to be posted shortly. Was also delayed by an ER visit and dr orders. Getting back on track with the ex*****on of the event now. No pun intended, well we are talking about pirates, then maybe! But it is happening. Hello all, We just received some news from Redbeard...

Ahoy Landlubbers, I regret to inform ye that on my last voyage I ran into some rough waters an me boat took on some water. I be sorry to say that I aint be makin' it to Sandy Bottom Port this year. Me krew and I be repairing it for next years voyage.
