We’re glad to see the renovated Sandy Bottom Park court being enjoyed! Please respect the posted rules, handle equipment properly, and keep the court clean. We’ve already seen some damage and misuse. If you observe a problem, please report it to a Richmond Town Hall employee. Thank you for helping keep the court enjoyable for everyone!

New ADA-Compliant Benches Have Arrived at Sandy Bottom Park!

Glad to report that the 8 ADA-compliant benches purchased using funds from the AARP Community Challenge Grant have been delivered, assembled, and placed strategically around Sandy Bottom Park trails to provide a place to rest and enjoy nature. An additional 5 backless benches have been added around the upper court for players and spectators.

Special thanks to the Friends of Sandy Bottom Park for applying for the grant/ identifying and ordering the benches; the Richmond Highway Department and Dave Baker for assembling the benches, and to Peter Ashe, Kyle Clement, Ed Jackson, Carole Baker and Dave Baker for placing the benches in the rain on Wednesday.

We hope everyone enjoys the recent upgrades to the park!

County Road 36 CLOSED at Lake Ends Lane due to multiple crews working an incident with multiple structures on fire. Please avoid the area.

On Friday, September 11th, as we recognize the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, HCS Athletics would like to invite ALL CURRENT & FORMER FIRST RESPONDERS to join us for a special recognition ceremony prior to the Honeoye Varsity Girls Soccer Game vs. Lima Christian.

CURRENT & FORMER FIRST RESPONDERS

We would be honored to have you join us on the field so our athletes, families, and community can recognize you and thank you for your service.

Meet at 6:00 PM on the JV soccer field off Main Street, closest to the baseball field.

Our first responders will line up and walk onto the varsity field through a tunnel formed by both varsity soccer teams prior to the 6:30 PM game.

HCS Sports Boosters will also provide ONE FREE HOT DOG to every current and former first responder in attendance!

FANS — IT'S A RED, WHITE & BLUE OUT! Wear your red, white, and blue and help us fill the stands as we come together to remember, honor, and show our appreciation for those who serve our communities.
