We had a great visit this week to the Honeoye Falls–Mendon Historical Society museum.
A big thank you to Drew Sauer for hosting us and sharing such a thoughtful and engaging look into the rich history of our community. It’s always impressive to see how much history is right here in Honeoye Falls—and how well it’s being preserved.
We appreciate the time, stories, and passion that went into the tour. Looking forward to continuing to support and celebrate our local history!

We are very fortunate to count among our members a Honeoye Falls Fire Department volunteer. At our Flaherty's meeting this past Wednesday, he talked to our Club about fire departments' operations, successes, and challenges faced.

We are beyond grateful for our HFFD volunteers, and the need for more volunteers cannot be emphasized enough. If you're involved in a car accident near the Village at 8pm, it's HFFD volunteers who will be among the first on the scene to help you. If your basement is flooded after four inches of rain on a June afternoon, it's HFFD volunteers who will come pump it out for you.

We enjoyed welcoming Rose, an outbound Youth Exchange student sponsored by the Bloomfield Rotary, and Bruna, a Youth Exchange student from France, who shared their stories and gave us an insightful look at the Rotary Youth Exchange program and the fantastic experiences involved.
Thanks to everyone who joined us at Flaherty’s, and to those who contributed items for the food pantry. Strong turnout, good conversation, and a reminder of how Rotary connects our local community to the wider world.

This evening we hosted the annual “Quad Cities” dinner with the three other Rotary Clubs we started back in the day: Rush-Henrietta, Lima, and Honeoye Lake! Many thanks to Lima Country Club for providing the venue and meal, and to our keynote speaker, Lima Rotary Past President Jericho Banker.
