Friday, 9/4 will be Hat Day at HPMS! Students can pay $1 to homeroom teachers to receive a wristband that will allow them to wear a hat on Friday. All proceeds will help HPMS ProTeam students raise money for Disabled American Veterans. For every $250 raised, HPMS gets 24 American flags to display in a "flag garden" at HPMS the week of Veteran's Day. All donations raise critical funds to support services for veterans in need and their families. All hats worn must be school-appropriate and non-disruptive. Additionally, if students would like to contribute to this cause but not wear a hat, that is fine as well. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, and hat day will take place each day throughout September to raise money for this cause.
