Do you have a medical need for electricity? ⚡🏥
If someone in your home depends on an electrically operated health aid, your account may qualify for Medina EC’s Critical Care Registry. Being on the registry helps ensure your account is flagged and notified ahead of planned outages and prioritized during restoration when possible. Participation does not guarantee uninterrupted service, so it’s important to also have an emergency plan and backup power options.

Keeping our members safe and your power reliable is always a top priority at Medina EC. One important way we do that is by maintaining a clear right‑of‑way—the 40‑foot area surrounding our power lines. Keeping this space clear helps prevent outages, reduces fire risk, and allows our crews to work safely. ⚡🌳

If you see a tree touching or growing too close to overhead power lines, please don’t try to trim it yourself. Instead, report it to Medina EC by calling 1‑866‑632‑3532, emailing [email protected], or logging into SmartHub and reporting an issue. Our team or a certified arborist will inspect the area. Trees that are dead, leaning, or pose an immediate risk are prioritized for safety

While we respect the landscape, Medina EC may remove trees that threaten our lines to protect your service and our crews.
