Champs are built in the offseason! Great turnout and great work put in at open mat! If your student has an interest in wrestling this upcoming season, our next open mat night will be Tuesday, June 23rd @ 6:00 pm in the back gym! This would be a great opportunity to check it out!

Tonight a group from Homer’s Drama department had the opportunity to attend a showing of Come From Away at New Stage Players. They got to witness a beautiful 90 minute show about found community through the tragedy of 9/11. Afterwards they had the opportunity to speak to the cast and ask questions about the live theater experience. We are so lucky for this opportunity and to have New Stage Players in our community.

Today our two SkillsUSA champions are ready to compete and learn on the biggest stage SkillsUSA has to offer. Yesterday they were welcomed to Atlanta by being reminded that they are among the best and the brightest students in the nation. We happen to agree! Congratulations go out to Kylie Kocian and Alejandra Garcia on all they have accomplished this year through their dedication and leadership. It is a great day to be a Homer Knight.
