What a send-off! πŸŽ‰

Schilling School 4th graders celebrated their farewell in style: T-shirts, a photo booth, and a Kona Ice truck to cool things down. 🌞🍨It was the perfect way to cap off an amazing year together.

Wishing our 4th graders a wonderful summer and all the best as they head to Hadley Middle School next year! πŸ’šπŸŽ

🌞 Mr. Hall's science class just took learning to another planet--several, actually.πŸͺ

Hadley students stepped outside last week to build a scale model of our solar system! A yellow beach ball stood in for the Sun while student volunteers held scaled-down versions of the planets. Spoiler: the blacktop only got us as far as Mars! πŸš€

Back inside, students used a satellite map of the Village to discover just how far the rest of the scaled-down planets would be from the beach ball Sun we placed outside. They also explored the lunar phases, learned about our galaxy, experienced the vastness of space, AND tackled the big question: is there life out there in other galaxies? 🌌

It was one small step onto the blacktop, and one giant leap in curiosity. We love watching these young astronomers explore the universe! πŸ’«

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Teamwork makes the dream work--especially in the kitchen!

Mrs. Fotopoulos' cooking class at HJH wrapped up the school year in the most delicious way possible: with their final cooking lab! Students rolled up their sleeves and made fried rice from scratch, each taking on an important role--chef, sous chef, or kitchen manager.

Every role matters, and every student brought something special to the table. The result? A teamwork-powered meal that was as impressive as it was tasty! 🍚

We love watching our students grow their collaboration skills, responsibility, and confidence--one cooking lab at a time. πŸŽ‰
