Residents in the area of Ferguson Road in Indiana, will be without water service until a water break can be fixed.

The Borough of Homer City has an opening on the Borough Council for a person to fill the existing term (until December 31, 2027) of a member who has resigned. This is not a paid position. Applicants must be a registered voter and have continuously resided in the borough for at least one year prior to appointment. A code enforcement officer from PA Municipal Code Alliance will be out in Homer City Borough starting today. He will be enforcing ordinances such as high grass/weeds, grass clippings being mowed onto streets/sidewalks, overhanging trees, abandoned vehicles, dilapidated buildings and accumulated junk.

Flushing schedule for the week of April 27th:

April 28th - Homer City Borough, Robert’s Addition, and Coy Junction
April 29th - Center Township(excluding Coral and Graceton), White Township
April 30th - Coral, Graceton and Smith Road area.

Waste Management new containers: please place your trash container in the same spot you always have for pickup Monday mornings. If there are any issues with the placement and the trucks, the borough will notify you of where the new spot will be.
