Judy’s library is here!!

Our next mission is to find someone with the talent to paint a mural on the exterior. Please share and tag anyone who may be able to help! 💕

Good morning!
While our initial plans are set, there is still a lot to do to bring this tribute to fruition. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out!

These are the things we are focused on currently:
~building or buying a bench
~building or buying the library structure
~painting the library in mural style in tribute to the things most important to Judy

These are the things that will be coming up next:
~securing installation materials
~collecting book donations
~planning the dedication (target 10/18/26, Judy’s birthday)

If you have materials, tools, skills, or time to donate, please let us know. If you want to take the lead on a component or can make a referral of someone with expertise in an area, we are grateful for either! We are also collecting donations to offset expenses.

Also, continue to share the page and share verbally in the community so everyone has a chance to participate.

To honor the contributions Judy made to the Homer City community and to memorialize her in a way we think would have been most meaningful to her, we are establishing a Little Free Library at the Homer City Community Gardens.
