Assistant Chief Andy Upton and Officer Keith Pease are wrapping up an unforgettable and humbling experience at National Police Week 2026 in Washington D.C. 🇺🇸💙
Over the last several days, they had the honor of standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the nation’s finest federal, state, and local law enforcement officers from across the United States. From attending memorial events at our Nation’s Capitol, to walking the sacred grounds of Arlington National Cemetery, the experience was truly once in a lifetime.
They were able to meet extraordinary surviving family members of fallen officers and hear stories of courage, sacrifice, resilience, and love that will never be forgotten. Those conversations serve as a powerful reminder of the ultimate price so many heroes have paid in service to their communities and country.
Assistant Chief Upton and Officer Pease also had the opportunity to witness the rich history and beauty of Washington D.C. firsthand — visiting historic landmarks, attending the National Peace Officers Memorial Service at the United States Capitol, and reflecting at places that symbolize the freedoms and values law enforcement officers work every day to protect.
National Police Week is more than ceremonies and memorials. It is about brotherhood, sisterhood, healing, remembrance, education, and honoring those who gave everything while serving others. It is a reminder that behind every badge is a commitment to service, sacrifice, and community.
The Homecroft Police Department is incredibly proud of Assistant Chief Upton and Officer Pease for representing our town and department with professionalism, pride, and honor throughout this incredible week.
Please join us in thanking them for their dedication and continued service to the Town of Homecroft and beyond. 💙🖤🇺🇸
