Important Update for those of you looking to get the Covid-19 Vaccine 💉 and are not yet eligible:
Book an appointment for a 75+ Year Old who needs transportation/assistance getting to and from the facility and accompany them and you will be able to get your vaccine as well. This is an amazing opportunity for people who aren’t yet eligible and will also help get the older population vaccinated who otherwise wouldn’t go out in the public without assistance.

Book the appointment for the 75+ year old and then book your caregiver appointment, select the option ‘Individual accompanying someone who is age 75+ to their vaccination appointment (both must be present at the same time, both must have same day appointments).

My friends are most likely in Western MA and should utilize the Eastfield Mall Mass Vaccination Site. The Eastfield Mall Site has been re-engineered so don’t be afraid of waiting in the cold as you are now able to wait inside the mall until your time, there are also accommodations for the elderly/disabled. You also leave that day with an appointment for your second vaccine for yourself and the senior citizen.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR PHOTO ID/LICENSE AND MAKE SURE THE SENIOR CITIZEN HAS THEIRS OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT GET TURNED AWAY! BOTH OF YOUR APPOINTMENTS SHOULD BE MADE FOR THE SAME DAY/TIME OR AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE AND YOU ARE LIMITED TO ONE COMPANION!

Do not accept offers from strangers to bring you to the vaccination site, however your companion doesn’t have to be a family member. If you already got your first dose your companion can make an appointment to go with you for your second dose and receive their first dose and they will be eligible to book an appointment for their second dose because they received their first dose.

Link is below to book appointments in Springfield.

If you aren’t local to Western MA the other Mass Vaccination Sites offering this program are Gillette Stadium, Fenway Park, and Doubletree Hotel in Danvers. (You must have an appointment for yourself and the senior citizen). As of now this is only allowed at the 4 Mass Vaccination sites as they have the quantity to vaccinate the caregivers. (By Mass I mean mass and not Massachusetts, luckily there are more than 4 vaccine sites in MA these are just the “mass” vaccination sites).

More information about the Caregiver Vaccine Eligibility is below.

I am not working with the Government in this initiative, I’m just trying to help get my community vaccinated along with the vulnerable elderly population. If anyone has any questions I will answer what I can. I hope you all can get vaccinated and please keep in mind that everyone will be eligible eventually as the state is waiting to get enough supplies/vaccines and is working in order of the most vulnerable categories as put together by the Vaccine Advisory Group which consists of doctors, public health experts, lawmakers, and community activists.

*******Everyone should be eligible by April as estimated by the state.*******

Thank you to the 142 people and the 27% of Ward 4 who supported change and took the time out of their day to vote for me, this will not be our last fight and we will be back in 2021. It’s never easy to run against an incumbent but at the end of the day the quality of our schools is what matters the most! Next time we will just have to knock on a few more doors and get our message out to the rest of Ward 4.
