Hey Holyoke, there is still an active parking ban!

This is a Friendly reminder: A Reverse Parking Ban is currently in effect until further notice. There is no parking on the odd-numbered side of the street and no parking in cul-de-sacs. Thank you!

Este es un recordatorio amistoso: Actualmente está en vigor una prohibición de estacionamiento en reversa hasta nuevo aviso. No se permite estacionar en el lado impar de la calle ni en las calles sin salida.

Please note the parking ban!

Update: On Wednesday February 25th at 5:00 a.m., the reverse parking ban will end.

At 8:00 a.m. Wednesday February 25th, a regular parking ban will begin. There will be no parking on the even side of the street and no parking in cul-de-sacs. We thank you for your cooperation.

Residents may park at: Ernest E. Proulx Municipal Parking Garage, 505 Dwight Street (entrance off Front Street)

This parking ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Update: Winter Parking Ban

The City of Holyoke, Department of Public Works, has issued a REVERSE Winter Parking Ban as follows:

THE CURRENT REGULAR PARKING BAN ENDS

Tuesday, January 27, 2026 @ 7:00 pm

REVERSE PARKING BAN STARTS

Wednesday, January 28, 2026 @ 7:00 am

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

IN A REVERSE PARKING BAN THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON THE ODD SIDE OF THE STREET UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED

AND NO PARKING ON CUL-DE-SACS

The regular winter parking ban remains in effect until 7:00 p.m. January 27th. During a regular parking ban there will be no parking on the even side of the street unless otherwise posted and no parking on cul-de-sacs.

PLEASE NOTE: The paid adjusted amounts will be reflected on your tax bill - lowering the amount due as opposed to generating a refund. You do not have to contact our office to receive this, it will be adjusted automatically. Any overpayments at the end of the fiscal year (after May 1, 2026) will be processed as a refund.

As of today our system is still undergoing maintenance to correct the error and we are unable to process any real estate payments until that is completed. We are hoping this is rectified no later than Friday, January 9th.
