Hello! My name is Mitchell "Mitch" Kellum, and I'm a candidate for Holtville Unified School Board.

I’ve been employed as a hay broker in the Imperial Valley for nearly 20 years, and a resident of Holtville for 17 years.

I am an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Holtville, and have been serving for many years in the Imperial County Sheriff’s Posse.

My wife Kelly and I are the parents of Landon (HHS Sophomore), Mallorie (HHS Freshman), and Drew (Pine 7th grader).

I believe in the power of youth sports, and have been immersed in youth athletics for the past 11 years as a soccer coach, wrestling coach, Little League baseball coach, Pop Warner & AYF football coach and Little League Board Member.

I believe in sane, healthy subject matter presented to our students, which elevates each person as an equal important member of our society.

I believe that I can listen, keep an open mind, and make sound decisions when it concerns the education and well-being of our children.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve the community of Holtville as a HUSD Board Member, and ask you to vote Mitchell Kellum on November 8th, 2022. Thank you in advance for your support!
