Our first graders were busy learning, exploring, and having fun with numbers today! Through hands-on activities and meaningful practice, students were building number sense, strengthening their mathematical thinking, and explaining their reasoning.

We love seeing students learn by doing, talk about their thinking, and make connections with math!

The Wildcat of the month for August is….Jenny McElroy!
She was nominated by colleagues for helping make and maintain not on a positive welcoming culture in her classroom but also in the building. Her nominator said she “does an amazing job adjusting to everything thrown at her”. We all appreciate the impact she makes with our kids and in our school.
