🎉📚 SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER! ☀️🚒

The books are closed, the backpacks are packed away, and summer fun is officially underway!

As everyone heads outside to enjoy swimming, biking, fishing, camping, and family adventures, Holt Fire District would like to remind everyone to stay safe while making memories.

✅ Wear your life jackets around water
✅ Stay hydrated and take breaks from the heat
✅ Always wear a helmet when riding bikes and ATVs
✅ Never leave children or pets in a vehicle
✅ Practice fire safety around grills, campfires, and fireworks

Our firefighters are on duty all summer long, but we’d much rather see you enjoying your vacation than meeting us on an emergency call!

🚨 Holt Traffic Update 🚨

If you’re wondering why Highway 90 suddenly feels like the Daytona 500, it’s because I-10 eastbound is currently shut down due to an accident.

As a result, traffic is being rerouted through our area, so expect delays, extra vehicles, and a few folks wondering if they accidentally moved to Atlanta.

If you’re heading eastbound:
🚗 Be patient
🚗 Leave a little earlier
🚗 Put on some good music
🚗 Resist the urge to test your horn’s battery life

Most importantly, please watch for emergency vehicles and first responders working in the area.

Thank you for your patience, and remember—getting there a few minutes late beats not getting there at all.

We want to send a HUGE thank you to our amazing community for the continued support. Every rack sold helps support your volunteer firefighters, equipment, training, and the service we provide to Holt and the surrounding areas. ❤️🚒

From the early morning smokers to the last rack handed out, we appreciate every single one of you that stopped by, shared a post, brought friends, or just came hungry. 😂

We truly have the best community around.

Now excuse us while we go smell like smoke for the next three days. 😎🔥

Nothing better than good food and good company! 🍖🏍️

Had some motorcycle riders stop by today and enjoy some Holt Fire District ribs right on the side of the road. Safe to say the smokers were doing their job because the smell pulled them right in. 😎🔥

We appreciate everyone who continues to support our volunteer firefighters and our community events. Y’all travel safe and come back hungry! ❤️🚒

The smokers will be rolling bright and early at Holt Fire District tomorrow starting at 9 AM! Come grab your Memorial Day weekend ribs before they disappear… and y’all know they go FAST. 👀🔥
