The Village of Holly is located in Northern Oakland County Michigan approximately fifteen minutes south of Flint Michigan. The Village of Holly is a small community of 6,100 residents. During the Holiday season and special events; population can increase by 2,000 people according to the chamber of commerce. The Village’s economy depends largely on the tourist drawn by our historic downtown area shops and restaurants, and the annual events held in the Village.
The Village of Holly Fire Department was formed in 2004; the department’s primary response area is 3 square miles consisting of residential, light & heavy industrial, commercial, and rural. On average the department responds to approximately 800+ fire and medical calls for service including mutual aid request to other area departments. The Village of Holly Fire Department provides 24/7 response for all types of emergencies including Fire Suppression, Rescue Services, HazMat Operations, Technical services; and Advanced Life Support medical care and transport. The fire department also provides fire prevention services to 5 local schools, and two senior living centers.
