After 30 years of dedicated public service, including 28 years serving the citizens of Holly Springs, Master Officer Lorrie Williams is retiring from the Holly Springs Police Department. Throughout her remarkable career, Officer Williams served as a patrol officer, sergeant, detective, and ultimately as a beloved School Resource Officer, where her compassion, mentorship, and commitment to students made a lasting impact on countless young people and families.

We are deeply grateful for her decades of service, leadership, and friendship, and we wish her every happiness in this well-earned next chapter. Congratulations, Master Officer Williams, and thank you for a career of service to others!

The Holly Springs Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals pictured in connection with an assault investigation at AMC Holly Springs.

On July 12, 2026, at approximately 7:20 p.m., the pictured male was involved in an altercation that resulted in injuries. He left the area in the pictured white SUV. Investigators are also seeking to identify the second individual pictured.

Holly Springs Police was pleased to again host its annual Breaking Bread with Fish and Kids program. This youth-oriented event allows for the Town’s children to bond with officers in a fun and educational setting at Bass Lake.

This year’s enrollment has been filled due to the continued enthusiasm and success of the program. We look forward to another great event next year!
