On Friday May 29, members of the Holly Springs Police Department participated in the final leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina.

On Wednesday May 27, Holly Springs Police had the honor of participating in the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina.

We carried the Flame of Hope torch through town as we supported our Special Olympic athletes. The Torch Run relays will wrap up Friday with the final leg and the Summer Games will start this weekend in Raleigh.

Thank you to all the people who honked, waved and supported our staff on our journey of carrying the torch through Holly Springs.

The safety of every pedestrian, driver, and rider is a top priority in Holly Springs. The Town Council approved a new ordinance that goes into effect on Monday, June 1 to address the rapid increase and unique challenges posed by e-bikes (electric-assisted bikes) and e-motos in the community.

K9 Byrd and Facility Dog Kona invite you to participate in the Child Abuse Awareness Month event through the remainder of April.

Stop by the lobby of the Holly Springs Law Enforcement Center before the end this month and grab a pinwheel from the bin. Plant it anywhere in the front lawn mulched areas as a symbol of standing in solidarity with children affected by abuse.
