A Blue Alert has been issued in southeast Missouri for a man accused of firing shots at law enforcement officers during a traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Authorities identified the suspect as 42-year-old Zachary Rance Walker. Investigators say he is believed to be armed with both a rifle and a handgun and may have possible gunshot wounds.

DISASTER SURVIVOR ASSISTANCE CENTER UPDATES: The Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers in Calhoun, DeSoto, Humphreys, Tishomingo, and Tate Counties will close Saturday, May 2nd, at 2 p.m. On Monday, May 4th at 8 a.m., DSAs will open in Attala, Grenada, Holmes, Lee, Marshall, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, and Union Counties. The Disaster Recovery Centers will remain open in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola, and Yazoo Counties.
