The Autism Programs at the UNM Center for Development & Disability is now accepting applications for the Fall 2026 semester of Thrive. The three-month curriculum covers topics including but not limited to Self-Awareness, Self-Determination, Self-Advocacy, and Life Management including Personal Care, Financial Literacy, and Career Exploration.

This free online series is held on Monday afternoons 3:00-5:00 pm, July 27 through November 2, 2026. Individuals 18-30 years old with a confirmed diagnosis of Autism may apply through July 14, 2026.

Gas Grant Update: Due to overwhelming demand, the AFAS Limited-Time Gas Grant program has reached its funding cap and will close at 3:00 pm Eastern Time, and Applications will no longer be accepted.

We appreciate our Military & Family Readiness Center partners who helped share this limited-time pilot directly with eligible Airmen and Guardian families. We’re grateful for the strong response and remain committed to exploring new ways to support service members and their families.
