Whether it’s learning to communicate, building relationships, gaining independence, or simply having the courage to try something new, every milestone matters and we celebrate all of those victories. Thank you BenitoLink for featuring the San Benito County Vision Project, a collaborative effort by the San Benito County Office of Education, First 5 San Benito, local optometrists Dr. Redman and Dr. Theaker, San Benito Public Health, and VSP Vision of Hope to bring free vision exams and prescription glasses directly to students at Aromas and San Juan schools.

This partnership helps remove barriers so students can fully engage, learn, and thrive in school. For many children, this may have been their only access to vision care this year. Thank you to all of our partners, volunteers, and community leaders who helped make this possible for students and families across San Benito County.
