American Legion Aux Hollister

American Legion Aux Hollister Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary is the world’s largest patriotic service organization.

We serve our veterans and our community in the spirit of "Service, not self". Unit meetings are held at 7:00pm the first Wednesday of each month in our office at the Veterans’ Building.

At the Hollister High School awards ceremony, I introduced Ana Kaplanski, the 2026 Girl State delegate, and Julia Nordstrom, the first alternate delegate. I also honored Julia Nordstrom as the district-level winner of the American Legion Auxiliary Americanism Essay Contest, presenting her with a certificate and monetary award of $125 ($25 + $100) for her outstanding essay. Furthermore, a Certificate of Recognition was awarded to Mrs. Mary Andrade, counselor at Hollister High School, for her exceptional dedication to and support of the American Legion Auxiliary Girl State Program.
