Recently, the San Benito County Office of Emergency Services welcomed the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) for a collaborative meeting and tabletop exercise 🤝

IMAT teams are specialized emergency management professionals who can deploy rapidly during disasters—bringing expertise, coordination, and critical resources when they’re needed most 🚨

During the visit, we discussed how IMAT can support San Benito County in future incidents and conducted a tabletop exercise based on the 2023 flooding event 🌧️
These discussions help strengthen coordination and ensure we’re ready to respond effectively as one team 💪

We appreciate IMAT’s partnership and continued support of rural communities 🙌 Together, we’re working to keep San Benito County safe, prepared, and resilient 🛡️
