🚑 It’s another busy weekend across Taney County!

TCAD Paramedics crews are out across the community providing medical coverage for several major events taking place throughout the area.

🎸 Tonight, our paramedics will be standing by at Guns N’ Roses: World Tour 2026 at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena.

🏍️ We’re also continuing medical coverage for the National H.O.G. Rally as the four-day event wraps up today in Branson.

🏈 Our crews will also be providing coverage for multiple high school sporting events throughout the area.

With thousands of residents and visitors out enjoying everything Taney County has to offer, expect busy roadways throughout the day and evening. Give yourself a little extra time, stay alert in traffic, and continue watching carefully for the increased number of motorcycles traveling throughout the area.

Whether it’s a major concert, a national event, Friday night lights, or the everyday emergencies happening across our community, TCAD Paramedics are here and ready to help!

🚑 We Remember September 11

Today, TCAD Paramedics joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

We honor the firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, military members, and countless others who responded that day and in the difficult days that followed. We also remember the families, friends, coworkers, and communities forever changed by the events of that morning.

Twenty-five years later, the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on September 11 remain a powerful part of our nation’s history.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor those who served, and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many.

We will never forget.

🏍️🚑 Expect more motorcycles on Taney County roadways this weekend!

Branson is hosting the Harley-Davidson National H.O.G. Rally at Full Throttle Branson Bike Week, bringing a significant increase in motorcycle traffic to Branson and throughout the surrounding area.

TCAD Paramedics will have paramedics standing by at the rally while also staffing additional ambulances to help meet the increased demand associated with the influx of motorcycles on our roadways.

For everyone traveling through Taney County this weekend, please take a little extra time and watch carefully for motorcycles:

👀 Look twice before turning or pulling into traffic. Motorcycles can be easy to miss, especially in busy intersections and heavy traffic.

↔️ Check your mirrors and blind spots carefully before changing lanes.

🛑 Use extra caution at intersections and when making left turns. Take another look before proceeding.

🚗 Leave plenty of following distance. Give motorcycles additional space and avoid following too closely.

📵 Put the phone down and stay focused on the road. A few seconds of distraction can have serious consequences.

🚦 Expect heavier traffic and possible delays. Give yourself a little extra time and avoid rushing.

Whether you're headed to work, school, one of Branson's attractions, or just traveling across the county, please be patient and attentive behind the wheel this weekend.

🚑 It’s a busy Labor Day weekend across Taney County! ✈️🐂☀️

TCAD Paramedics crews are out across the county today providing medical coverage for some of the biggest events of the year!

✈️ 2026 Branson Wings of Pride Air Show presented by CoxHealth at the Branson Airport, featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights and other performers.

🐂 Bass Pro Shops PBR Thunder Days presented by DoorDash at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, featuring PBR Teams competition and tonight’s post-event performance by Miranda Lambert.

While thousands of visitors are enjoying everything Taney County has to offer, TCAD Paramedics continues to staff these special events while maintaining ambulance coverage throughout the county.

🔥 Please take the heat seriously!

The National Weather Service has an Extreme Heat Warning in effect for our area, with heat index values reaching 100–110°F. Our crews have already responded to heat-related emergencies today, so please take precautions if you’re attending any of this weekend’s outdoor events.

💧 Drink plenty of water — and start hydrating before you arrive.
☀️ Limit prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when possible.
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing, sunscreen and a hat.
🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
👨‍👩‍👧 Keep a close eye on children, older adults and anyone particularly susceptible to heat.
🚑 If you begin feeling ill, dizzy, weak or confused, don’t wait — seek medical attention.

🚑 TCAD Paramedics are gearing up for an exciting Labor Day weekend across Taney County!

Thousands of residents and visitors will be enjoying some incredible events throughout our community, and TCAD Paramedics will be there providing emergency medical coverage.

🏈 High school varsity football games throughout the area

While our crews provide dedicated medical coverage for these special events, TCAD will continue to maintain ambulance coverage throughout Taney County for our residents and visitors.

It takes a lot of planning, coordination, and great people to cover a weekend like this, and our paramedics are ready for it!

☀️ It's also going to be HOT! The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for our area through Sunday evening, with dangerous heat index values expected to reach 100–110°F.

If you're attending one of this weekend's events, spending the day on the lake, or enjoying time outdoors, make the heat part of your plans. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning, wear lightweight clothing, and don't wait until you're thirsty to start hydrating. Keep an extra eye on children, older adults, and anyone spending extended periods outside.

Most importantly, know your limits. If you begin feeling weak, dizzy, nauseated, confused, or otherwise unwell in the heat, get somewhere cool and seek help.

🌕🚑 Night Shift Views! 🚑🌕

Working night shift has its challenges, but every once in a while, it comes with a pretty incredible view!

Our night-shift paramedics took a few moments between calls to watch the lunar eclipse and capture some great photos along the way. While most of Taney County was winding down for the night, our crews were still out there—ready to answer the next call, with a front-row seat to the show in the sky.

Just another night on duty at TCAD Paramedics… with a slightly better view than usual. 🌙
