Hollis Social Library

Hollis Social Library Established in 1799, the Hollis Social Library provides free books, materials, and programs for Hollis residents.

The Hollis Social Library strives to provide a diverse collection of books, materials & programs to enrich the lives of Hollis residents. Our offerings include books in multiple formats, access to the latest technology, and wireless internet environments for internet access and wireless printing. A wide range of programs are offered for all ages, from babies to seniors. It is also our goal to create a welcoming environment, positioning the library as a community center where all are welcome!

Growing Oyster Mushrooms
Thursday, September 10th @ 6:00pm

Come grow oyster mushrooms from spawn to mushroom with Heather from Little Room Mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms are easy to grow and a sustainable, nutritious, and delicious food that you just may get hooked on. You will leave with your own pink oyster mushroom grow bag and some delicious recipes. You are welcome to reach out with questions as you continue your mushroom growing journey at home.

A New Monthly Club!
Master Builders Lego Club

First Meeting: Friday, September 11th @ 4:00 pm
ages 5-11

Love building LEGO and want to hang out with like-minded LEGO enthusiasts? Join HSL’s Master Builders LEGO Club, meeting monthly on the second Friday from September through June. Each meeting will start with a new building challenge followed by free-building time.

Collect a sticker in your LEGO Club passport each time you attend. Builders who attend all ten meetings and collect all ten stickers will earn a small LEGO set to keep! Bring your LEGO creativity and we'll supply the bricks!

Master Builders LEGO Club meets monthly on the second Friday of the month, from 4:00-4:45pm.
