Friday night’s matchup between Holliday and Iowa Park will begin with an unforgettable tribute in honor of September 11 and a Military / First Responder Appreciation Night.

At the conclusion of the National Anthem, members of the 80th Flying Training Wing will fly over the stadium in a unique formation featuring two T-38 Talons and two T-6 Texan IIs.

Eight pilots will participate—and each is either the father of a Holliday ISD student or a Holliday High School graduate.

The formation will pass over the stadium from west to east, creating a powerful hometown tribute to those who serve and remembering the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

Congrats to Holliday's Emma Ellis for being named Red River Roundup Female Athlete of the Week for Aug. 17-22, presented exclusively by Arrowhead Roofing, Siding, Gutters and Windows!

Emma earned the award after leading the area with 154 kills across nine matches last week. She recently gave a verbal commit to play Division I volleyball at the University of North Texas!
