Healthy Ottawa is currently conducting the Community Health Needs Assessment. It’s done every three years and looks at the health of Ottawa County community members. One of the tools used in the assessment is the Behavioral Risk Factory Survey, which is happening throughout September. This community-wide telephone survey is one of the most important ways we gather information about the health of our community.

If you get a call from a 616 area code (it may show as "Wilkins Research"), please take 20–30 minutes to share your voice! The survey is anonymous and participation is optional.

One year ago, Kory Plockmeyer stepped in as Executive Director of the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance. He hit the ground running and never looked back. He's built a cohesive, collaborative team, upgraded our systems and technology, and poured his passion into serving our members. Under his leadership, we’ve continued to show up for West Michigan’s nonprofits with the same mission that’s always driven us: helping our members do their best work for the communities they serve.

Kory, thank you for your vision, your steady hand, and your commitment to walking alongside our nonprofit members every step of the way. Here’s to many more years of accomplishing our mission, together.

Welcome to the Alliance, Historic Ottawa Beach Society!

Their first major project has been to to work with Ottawa County to renovate the historic Pump House in order to convert the building into the new Pump House Museum and Learning Center - bringing local history to life for thousands of visitors along the Black Lake Boardwalk each year.
