Last night the members of the Trenton Joint Fire District came together for the annual Installation Banquet at Harts Hill Inn. Each year the members of the Holland Patent Hose Co. and the Barneveld Fire Company gather to recognize our members and their families for the past year of hard work, fellowship, and good times with a night of relaxation and fun.
Each company has an opportunity to recognize the people that serve thier respective groups, together.
This year, the Ray Poland award which is given in honor of the namesake who was a lifelong member of the HPHC to a member for their long time service and contribution to the company. This years recipient is Bruce Clemons in recognition of his tireless work on one of our largest yearly fundraisers.
Awards were also given for top 10 responders, new members, and several "Tongue in cheek" awards. A good time was had by all.
A huge thank you to The Remsen and Stittville Fire companies for covering any calls we might have had small of our members could enjoy the night.

The membership of Holland Patent Hose Co. extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Marvin (Marv) Jones. Marv was a dedicated life member of the Hose Company and held the esteemed position of President in the late 1990s.
