We are having our annual roadblock for Christmas for kids this year. Come by and see us at both Main St 4 ways and the mill pond. Thank you for continuing to support this great cause.

The HBFD is hosting a fundraiser for their Christmas for Kids program, featuring a handmade quilt created by one of their members, Ruth Mayhall! Tickets are $15 each, with a total of 100 spots available. Payment through Venmo or cash given to a HBFD member is required once all spots are filled. To enter, please comment below with your name and the number of spots you'd like to purchase. The winner will be announced once all spots are sold.

It has been a busy weekend.

After an eventful night at beans and greens last night, tonight we went shopping for Christmas for Kids 2024. Together again, Ballplay Bend Fire Department, Hokes Bluff Fire Department and many friends and family shopped for over 65 kids in our area.

Thank you for everyone that helped to ensure that these kids will have something to open on Christmas who othewise may not have gotten anything at all. If you have never gotten to experience a feeling like this we encourage you to find a way to be apart of something in your community.

Mutual aid isn't just for emergency calls. Tonight, we assisted Hokes Bluff Fire Dept waiting tables at Beans and Greens. This was to raise money for Christmas for Kids.

Thanks to everyone who came out to get some good food and support the cause. Also thanks to Beans and Greens for your support.

Thank you to all the members of the Hokes Bluff Fire Department and Ballplay Bend Fire Department that took the time out of their busy holiday schedules to help wait and buss tables at Beans And Greens this evening to raise money for Christmas for kids.

Also, thank you to the management and workers of Beans and Greens for letting us come and try to do what y’all do everyday.

Lastly, thank you to everyone that showed up to eat and help support this great cause. We really enjoy doing what we can to help our community but we would never be able to do what we do without a community that helps and supports us like yall do.
