‪MEDIA: THP will be holding a press conference on the trooper involved crash that occurred on I-40 at the 74 mile marker. The location is the WELCOME CENTER at the 43 mile marker in Haywood County. The time will be 8:15 pm. ‬

Some of Lewis County’s Constables are attending in-services this week. Thanks to Hohenwald PD for allowing us to attend.

Today the poles will be open and there are several good men running to serve their district as Constable. Get there and vote for the one you think will be a great servant to your community. We will post the results for each district here.

With the super low temps tonight and tomorrow. If you have to get out please drive safely. Please check on our elderly community and see that they are staying safe and warm. Also don't forget about your four legged family members, if you can bring them inside. If you are unable to bring them in, insure that they have plenty of shelter & thier food and water is not frozen.

2013 was a productive year for Lewis County Constables.
Stats for 2013
1.Security and traffic for 4 public events.
2. Made 28 transports for th Sheriffs Office.
3. 21 criminal arrest with process.
4. Served 26 Civil process.
5. Donated hotdog buns for the 2013 Easter Eggstraviganza.
All of this was done at NO COST to the tax payers of Lewis County. A Special thanks to the Constables of Lewis County for the hard work and time they put into this office.

The Lewis County Cosntables would like to everyone a safe and Happy New Year!! Please don't drink and drive and make it to 2014 alive. Law enforcement will be out in force so give up your pride and get a ride. The Lewis County Constables will not be doing the safe sober ride home program this year due to schedule conflicts. We hope to have it back up and going for 2014.
