Read with a Ranger is a delightful program with Ranger Tandi! She read a child-friendly biography about Mary Anning, a paleontologist who discovered many different types dinosaurs in England. After the reading, the young explorers discovered where the Summer Reading Mascot, Digby, was hiding in the park along with other creatures and plants. Thank you Ranger Tandi for helping us “Unearth a Story.” If you missed this story time and would like to Read with a Ranger, join us on July 7th at 10:00 AM in Memorial Park.

Today's Park Ranger Story Time will be held at the Farmer's Market Pavilion in Memorial Park at 10:00 AM!

BIG CHANGES ARE COMING!

The Lewis County Public Library & Archives will close to the public on June 26 as we begin packing and relocating operations for our expansion and renovation project.

This marks the beginning of the most significant improvement to the library facility since it opened in 1972.

Patrons may continue using the library as normal through June 25. Additional information regarding due dates, returns, temporary services, and reopening plans will be announced as relocation efforts progress.

Thank you for your patience and support as we begin this exciting new chapter for the library and our community.

Please see the slides below for additional information.

One of the things we love most about Rock The Lot is that everyone can enjoy it. ❤️

Free parking. Free family activities. Free live music. Free fireworks.

Bring a lawn chair and spend an evening celebrating with your friends from the library!

What makes Rock The Lot different?

A family can spend an entire evening at Rock The Lot without spending a penny.

Free parking
Free family activities
Free live music
Free fireworks

Bring a lawn chair. Bring the kids. Bring your friends and neighbors.

If you'd like dinner, dessert, or a cold drink, our food vendors will be ready to serve you. But if you simply want to enjoy an evening of music, community, and celebration, you're welcome to do that too. 🙂

We believe everyone should be able to enjoy a great 4th of July.

That's what makes Rock The Lot different.
