Street Improvement Project Update: The contractor will start milling & grinding up the streets tomorrow morning, September 15th. They will be starting on 7th Street and progressing to other streets as the day goes on. Please make sure you do not have vehicles and trailers parked on the street starting tomorrow at 7am.

As a reminder the streets affected are 7th Street N & S, 8th Street S, 4th Street S, Colorado Ave, Carolina Ave, Florida Ave, Kentucky Ave, & Louisiana Ave. Residents on these streets: Please watch Facebook and your email for more information as the project progresses. Thanks for your cooperation!

Work will start this week on the Street Improvement Project for 7th Street N & S, 8th Street S, 4th Street S, Colorado Ave, Carolina Avenue, Florida Avenue, Kentucky Avenue, and Louisiana Avenue.

Residents on these streets should refrain from parking on the street from now until the work has been completed.

Residents should expect work to be happening Monday through Saturday from 7am to 7pm.

Work will specifically start on 7th Street on Wednesday where some portions of the curb and gutter will be tore out. Concrete in these sections will be poured Thursday. Anybody with an affected driveway apron was contacted by the City of Hoffman today. Please watch Facebook and your email for more information as the project progresses.

Check out the new additions to the Hoffman Public Library located in the back of MAIN STREET GALLERIA in Downtown Hoffman, MN.

Awesome new addition to the Library: These young adults (Teens) books were purchased by the City of Hoffman through a Blandin Foundation Grant.

The City of Hoffman will start a street improvement project on or around September 9th. Final schedule will be determined on September 8th by the contractor. The City of Hoffman will provide an update via their page and by email. The streets that are being improved include: 7th Street N, 7th Street S, 8th Street S, Colorado Ave, Carolina Ave, Kentucky Ave, Louisiana Ave, Florida Ave, and 4th Street S.

One of the city’s hydrants was used this afternoon and could be causing rusty water in some portions of Hoffman. Please give the system as much time as you can to settle. The longer you can wait to use water the better. Then please run your cold water to flush your pipes. Sorry for any inconvenience.
