This began as a program under Dean Lisa Dolling at Stevens Institute of Technology but has evolved into a new independent research program devoted to providing undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on research opportunities in Latin America. The interdisciplinary program draws on the humanities, the social sciences and management to tackle to most difficult problems faced by our world tod
ay. By exposing students to topics related to the ethics, policy, management and decision-making aspects of technological innovation, the program aims to cultivate ethical leadership and policy-making in science- and technology-intensive organizations such as government, for-profit corporations, non-governmental organizations and the public sector.
