A quick note before the long weekend: all Hoboken Public Library locations will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

The Grand Street Branch resumes regular hours on Tuesday, September 8. The Main Library remains closed through October 5 as renovation work continues.

An update for Grand Street this weekend: due to planned facilities work at the Multi-Service Center, the branch will now also be closed Saturday, September 5, in addition to the previously announced closures on Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4.

That means Grand Street will be closed Thursday through Saturday this week. Regular hours resume Tuesday, September 8. The Main Library remains closed through October 5 as renovation work continues.

Please note: our Grand Street Branch will be closed Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4 due to planned facilities work at the Multi-Service Center.

Regular hours resume Saturday, September 5. The Main Library remains closed through October 5.

Two locations remain open both days: the Learning Resource Center (401 Harrison Street), 10am-5pm, for adult computer use only, and the Outdoor Internet Cafe (Church Square Park at 5th Street), 11am-3pm, weather permitting.

Quick note before the weekend, Hoboken.

Hoboken Public Library will be closed this Saturday, August 29. The Grand Street Branch reopens with regular hours on Monday, August 31, and the Main Library remains closed through October 5 while renovation work continues.

In the meantime, our digital resources and book lockers at the Main Library, Grand Street, and the Hoboken Historical Museum are always open and available.
