Parker Hooks, a student at Heizer Middle School, just won the Junior High State Finals after THREE rounds of tough competition!
National Finals Qualifier!

It doesn't take much convincing to get MIlls staff into inflatable costumes. Less than 24 hours after the idea surfaced, a parade of comical characters rolled through school hallways and out into the parking lot on Thursday as educators found a fun way to blow off steam before summer break.

Jotty Kinney and the rest of his volunteer crew hosted their eigth Playday in two weeks at Sanger Elementary School on Wednesday. Christian Center Church - which got its Playday start more than 15 years ago when Kinney's children attended College Lane - provides the props, music, games and fun for more than 4,000 HMS students each May.
